We all scream for Ice Cream

It has been a bit hectic this week with non-shop activities but I did manage to get more done on the ice cream station.  The edges of the angled melamine sheet did not come out the way I had hoped - see previous posts - so I topped the unit with a sheet of Formica.  The cuts to get the bend were fun, if you have a warped sense of humor, but the final result looks much better.  I am going to put doors on today.




 

Interesting Legs

I finished the couch legs this week, as you can see the angles are interesting.. These were some fun to cut.



Now I can start on the other projects just as soon as my mouth heals up a bit from oral surgery and I am off the medications.

Busy week in the shop.

It has been a busy week in the shop, I forgot to take pictures of some of the progress but I did manage to get some taken.

The Ice Cream Serving Station is coming along nicely.


the holes in the slanted top and the front will hold stainless serving canisters for the condiments.

To ensure that spilled liquids will not destroy the mdf under the melamine I sealed the edges with epoxy

What is happening in my shop.

I have several new projects going in my shop now - bandsaw box, ice cream serving station, shop cabinets, and special work for a casino game designer.  I will be posting pictures and progress on most of these over the next weeks
